Built on Queen Street around confidence and craft

Tina Brown started The Hair Pin because she believes a good haircut is really about self esteem and confidence. After more than twenty years behind the chair, including hair and makeup work for rock bands, bridal parties, and stage and film productions, she opened her own shop on Queen Street to do exactly that, one client at a time.

The chair beside hers belongs to Bonnie Neville, a certified stylist with twenty-plus years of her own experience. Bonnie is known for custom wig fitting and styling, work she does for clients going through alopecia or chemotherapy as much as for anyone who just wants a change. Every new client starts with a free half hour consultation, no rush, no guessing.

Two stylists, one shop Tina and Bonnie each bring 20+ years behind the chair, so you are never getting a trainee's first attempt.
Custom wig fitting Bonnie fits and styles wigs for alopecia, chemotherapy, or anyone ready for a new look, with the same care as any other appointment.
Right on Queen Street Located at 744 Queen St. S. in Kitchener, easy to find and easy to get to.
Free consultation New clients start with a complimentary half hour consult before anything happens with scissors or colour.

Love having Tina do my hair. She is skilled, hilarious and professional. It's always a good way to spend some self care time. I feel great about myself when she is done, and I always get lots of compliments after she has transformed my hair.

“Tina styled two of our young granddaughters' hair. She was so skilled with them, taking two nervous kids and engaging them so they expressed what they wanted their hair to look like. Both girls loved their haircuts.”
